Thai stocks opened down 0.09% at the start of trade this morning. The Stock Exchange of Thailand main index opened at 1,587.71 points, down 1.42 points from Monday’s close. The trade value was 1.45 billion baht, with 224.8 million shares traded. The SET50 index opened at 994.32 points, down 2.08 points, or 0.21%, with a total trade value of 969.04 million baht. The MAI index went down 0.42 points or 0.07% to stand at 629.67 points, with total transaction value of 71.23 million baht.
